Privacy Policy

How information is handled on this website.

Who operates this website

SMB Web & Marketing is an initiative by Omega Function. This policy describes information handled through smbwebandmarketing.com. For a privacy question or request, use our contact form and identify it as a privacy request.

Information you provide

When you contact us, we receive the name, business name, email address, optional website address, service interest, and message you submit. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and discuss services. Please do not submit sensitive personal information in the form.

Website operation and security

Our hosting, Cloudflare, and email services process information needed to operate and protect the website and deliver messages. Server and security logs may include network addresses, request details, and timestamps. The contact form uses a temporary, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions and Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Website administrators have access to information needed to maintain the service.

Analytics, advertising measurement, and cookies

We use Google Tag Manager to load the measurement tools described here. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures website visits, referring sites, and performance without using cookies or local storage to track you over time.

If analytics is allowed for you, Google Analytics 4 records information such as the pages you visit, the referring website, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions such as clicks on contact buttons or use of the inquiry form. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or message text to Google Analytics.

If advertising cookies are allowed for you, the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) records visits and actions such as viewing the pricing page, clicking a contact link, or submitting an inquiry, so we can measure and improve our advertising. Meta receives browser identifiers with these events and handles them under its own policies. We do not send your form contents, name, email address, or phone number to Meta.

If advertising cookies are allowed for you, Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET, Microsoft Corporation) records visits to the pricing page and inquiry submissions, so we can measure and improve our advertising on Bing and other Microsoft search sites. Microsoft receives browser identifiers and, if you arrived from one of our ads, the ad click ID with these events, and handles them under its own policies. We do not send your form contents, name, email address, or phone number to Microsoft.

Our referral system uses two first-party cookies, ri_first_touch and ri_last_touch, to remember how you found us: campaign or referral labels, the page you first visited, the referring website, and a timestamp. They do not contain your contact details. We treat them as analytics cookies, so they are saved only while analytics is allowed for you. If you submit the contact form, those labels may be included with your inquiry so we know how you found us.

Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and Microsoft UET are managed through the privacy settings on this website. What happens before you make a choice depends on where you are, which we determine from the country our content network reports for your connection:

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Turning off the advertising category in Your Privacy Choices opts you out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising, including the Meta Pixel and Microsoft UET. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie on your own browser and applies on every later visit from that browser. You can change it as often as you like, and turning something back on is as easy as turning it off. See the Cookie Policy for the list of cookies.

Some browsers and browser extensions can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, indicating that you do not want your personal information sold or shared for advertising. Where this website detects that signal, it is honored directly in the website’s own code: advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel, and Microsoft UET are blocked, independent of the cookie banner, and clicking “Accept All” afterward does not re-enable them. This handling is built into the website itself; our cookie consent tool does not detect this signal on our current plan.

Sharing and retention

We use service providers for hosting, Cloudflare security and analytics, and email delivery. We do not sell contact inquiry information. Advertising measurement tools such as the Meta Pixel may be treated as “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws. You can turn them off using Your Privacy Choices. Inquiry messages may remain in our business email system while needed for the conversation, service administration, or applicable obligations. Temporary anti-spam records and Turnstile tokens expire automatically.

Your requests

You may ask about information you have provided or request its correction or deletion through the contact form. We may need to confirm that the request relates to you and may retain information required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.

Updates

We may update this policy as the website or its services change. Any material changes will be reflected on this page.
